“I am honored to serve the AACP with its 141 schools and nearly 7,000 members, all dedicated to educating tomorrow’s pharmacists,” Melchert said. “Now more than ever the world is recognizing the essential role pharmacists have in helping people live healthier lives. Pharmacists have been key in our battle against COVID-19, and the scope of our work continues to expand rapidly.”
Melchert is a member of the AACP Board of Directors and since 2018 the chair of the organization’s Council of Deans. 作为当选总统，他将担任战略规划委员会主席，并在美国药物教育基金会的财务委员会和董事会任职。
