The center is a community engagement initiative lead by the university’s Department of Architecture, Urban Planning+Design. Over the past five years, 193 neighborhood leaders, representing 79 unique organizations, have participated in the center’s Neighborhood Leadership Training classes. 参加培训的社区在2020年获得了1,159,562美元的投资（赠款，捐赠，政府资助，志愿者时间等）。
The celebration is from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, 4月 23 at the Anita B.
