政策声明
In consultation with the advisor or the supervisory committee, the master’s student plans a program of study in accordance with the minimum requirements outlined in the School of Graduate Studies Academic Regulations and the specific degree program requirements. 经顾问和/或监督委员会和单位研究生官批准后，学习计划应由研究生院院长批准，并在完成50%的适用学位课程之前提交给注册主任。
Master’s degree programs of study must include a minimum of 30 graduate credits. 300级和400级课程不超过课程学分的40%。 至少60%的学分必须在5000或更高的水平。 此外，最多六个学分可能允许研究和论文（5599）。 其他被部门或学校认为与论文相当的技能证明可以被接受。 No more than 40% of the courses applied toward a master’s degree program of study may be in the categories of non-thesis research, directed studies, readings or research and thesis. 这类课程通常在5500到5599之间，但不同学术单位的课程编号可能不同。

Subsequent changes in the program of study must be approved by the student’s advisor and/or supervisory committee, the unit graduate officer, and dean of the School of Graduate Studies, and be submitted to the registrar. 如果课程或学位要求的累计变化超过四门，则应提交新的学习计划。
