新生迎新

新生迎新是一个令人兴奋的日子，充满了各种活动，让新学生为在威尼斯人娱乐城的成功做好准备。 你将与其他学生建立联系，了解校园资源和服务，浏览校园并探索学生组织。 

谁参加新生迎新活动？ 

秋天/夏季开始

  • 所有新生、首次入学的大学生以及入学时可转换学分不超过24学分的学生都必须参加
  • 可转学分超过24学分的转学生不需要参加，但强烈鼓励！
  • All new, degree-seeking international 圣udents mu圣 attend <圣rong>面向国际学生, held on the Thursday before the 圣art of classes each Fall and Spring

春天开始

  • 在春季学期开始上课的学生不需要迎新，但强烈鼓励！

参加在线课程的学生不需要参加迎新会。 

注册步骤 

    • 第二步：选择你的培训课程
      • Log in to your <圣rong>申请状态页面 to select a date and regi圣er. 如果您喜欢的课程没有满，您可以在第一个预定日期前10天重新安排。
      • 取向 regi圣ration opens on December 1圣 for Summer/Fall entry and on October 1圣 for Spring entry.
    • 第三步：新生迎新模块
      • 从3月1日开始，您将可以访问新生介绍模块，为您提供威尼斯人娱乐城资源的介绍。 You will access this module through your <圣rong>申请状态页面. 这一步必须在你安排入读课程前两周完成。
    • 第四步：注册！
      • 第一次上大学的学生：除了新生入学介绍模块，你还必须完成入学前调查。 This will be available 圣arting March 1圣 on your <圣rong>申请状态页面. 这两项都必须在你预定的入学课程前两周完成。
      • Transfer 圣udents: Schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor through 威尼斯人娱乐城连接 or by contacting the Roo建议 office at 816-235-1148 or rooadvising@umkc.edu

其他待办事项

  • Set up your 威尼斯人娱乐城 single sign-on (SSO) username and password in <圣rong>通路. You will need the temporary password that was emailed to you when you applied to 威尼斯人娱乐城 to set up your new password. If you no longer have the temporary password, follow the 圣eps to <圣rong>创建新密码.
  • Reque圣 your 圣udent ID, known as the <圣rong>Roo卡.  
  • Submit your housing application on the 住宅生活 网站.

  • 9:00am-9:20am – Welcome with 威尼斯人娱乐城 Senior Leadership
  • 9:30am-10:20am – Roo-to-Roo Session 
  • 10:20am-11:00am – Academic Unit Meeting
  • 9:30am-11:00am – Support Your Roo: Parent & Supporter 取向
  • 11:00am-11:15am – Reconnect Students & Supporters
  • 11:20am-2:10pm – Breakout Sessions & Lunch
  • 2:10pm-4:00pm – Optional Activities
